- DAY 1 – Arrival in Malé City: Self check-in at Zan Lodge, Malé. Your check-in details will be provided before the trip. The hotel is a short walk from the ferry jetty you will arrive at.

Airport Transfer to Male City
Purchase your ferry ticket upon arrival (pre-booking is not available). It costs 1 USD or the rufiyaa equivalent per trip. Alternatively, ground transfers are available but at a much higher cost. - Flight out of Velana International Airport (MLE):
The speedboats out of Fulidhoo Island runs at 6.30AM & 1.30PM. It takes approximately 1-2 hours (weather dependent) to reach the airport. Book your flights on Day 5 accordingly.
*Do note that the airport is located in Hulhulé Island (beside Malé).

Booking Terms:
- A minimum of 6 pax is required for each tour date.
- Participants who sign up would automatically be placed on a wait list until the trip’s status is confirmed by Mowgli Venture.
- Participants are advised to book your flight tickets to Malé, only once the trip has been confirmed to meet the minimum pax.
- Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the tour date.
Activity Reminders
- Optional add-on activities by various island operators can be done on your own during free & easy.
- No bikini/indecent attire is allowed on most public beaches & shops in Maldives. Some designated beaches/boat rides are fine. Always check with your guide/locals if you are not sure.
- We do not practice or allow wildlife feeding on our tours.
- As wild marine lives, the manta rays are not around all year long. They appear at very random seasons.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrive anytime to the pristine waters of Maldives, a paradise that houses 26 breathtaking atolls. Purchase a ferry ticket for 1USD at the airport entrance then, hop on a 10-minute ferry ride from the airport island of Hulhulé to the Capital City of Malé. Our stay for the day (Zan Lodge, Malé) is a 10-minute walk from the Malé Ferry Terminal. With the city’s main attractions within walking distance, feel free to put on your solo explorer hat or tag along with our guide for a day of discovery, culminating in a beautiful sunset and dinner.
DAY 2
Our day begins at 7:30 AM with a short walk to Malé Fish Market, where you’ll witness fishermen expertly gutting and filleting massive Yellowfin and Skipjack Tuna from their morning catch in record time. At 9.00AM, we check out from our accommodation and set off on a scenic 3-4 hour local ferry ride*. Admire the diverse island landscapes and charming structures as we make several stops before reaching our destination. Arriving at the enchanting island of Fulidhoo, with its powdery sands and crystal-clear waters nestled in the Vaavu Atoll, we’ll spend the rest of the day snorkelling around the vibrant house reef before ending the travel day with yet another breathtaking sunset.

DAY 3
Day 3 is the real deal! Charge up your underwater cameras as we journey further south of the atoll to visit the Vaavu Shipwreck. This speculated Indonesian vessel now sits as a makeshift half-submerged underwater haven teeming with vibrant marine life and colorful corals, perfect for snorkeling and freediving. After an exciting morning, we’ll pause for lunch on the nearby island of Thinadhoo before heading out to sea again, in search of the elusive Manta Ray. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Fulidhoo for an evening of beach lazing, jetty jumps and watching the skies paint dusk.

DAY 4
Day 4’s excursion is a race against time as we set out to encounter nurse sharks in their natural habitat before the day’s feeding sessions begin. While feeding marine life is a common cultural practice in the Maldives, we are committed to minimizing our impact and do not participate in these sessions. Rest assured, you’ll receive a comprehensive briefing on how to interact respectfully with these gentle sea pups. The day continues with visits to two spectacular snorkeling spots: Turtle Point and Coral Garden. Our final destination is the breathtaking sandbank, a true oasis amidst the ocean. After a day full of wonders, we return to Fulidhoo, where you can enjoy a leisurely evening at your own pace.

DAY 5
Feel free to make the most of our last day on Fulidhoo with a sunrise snorkel or enjoy a quiet slow morning with some local breakfast before we bid our farewell and catch the 1:30PM speedboat back to Malé – OR – catch the early speedboat back at 6.30AM if you have an earlier flight. If you have some time to kill, consider exploring Hulhumalé, a reclaimed island located in the south of North Malé Atoll before making our way back to the airport**

2-4 pax sharing style accommodations with shared beds (between same gender)
Yes! You can arrange your own dives or excursions with any island operators during our free and easy hours (between the late afternoon till night time on Day 2 to 4). Our guide may bring guests on optional house reef snorkels during those hours but you are free to rest or sign up for other excursions.
All meals served are halal and there are vegetarian options.
We recommend bringing about RM450 – RM500 for food. Include RM100-200 extra as buffer ($150 USD total). This suggestion is excluding the cash amount for other activities/souvenirs. Card is accepted in diving centres at a high transaction fee rate.
Yes, life jackets and snorkelling guides will be provided for every water activity. It’s best to be at least comfortable in deep waters (with life jackets, of course) to ensure an enjoyable experience.
