Booking Terms:

  • The trip’s status is confirmed only once there are at least 12 sign-ups.
  • Participants who sign up would automatically be placed on a wait-list until the trip’s status is confirmed by Mowgli Venture.
  • This is a self-drive trip whereby ground transfers are not included. Mowgli Venture will support in facilitating carpool arrangement among participants. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure they have their ground transfers arranged.

ITINERARY

DAY 1
The adventure begins early at 7.00AM with a morning meet-up at Lata Kolam for some light breakfast before our first hike through lush forest trails, eventually reaching Lata Kalong at about 11.00AM. We send some jumps, fuel up with lunch and cool off before we’re back on our feet headed for the scenic Lata Parit and Lata Pelangi. The waterfall hunt for Day 1 ends around the early evening as we make our way back to the carpark.

Post room check-ins, we take it down a notch – with naps by the riverbanks, card games or simply laying under the stars on a good, clear night’s skyview.

DAY 2
We start off at a slower pace as the breakfast spread greets you at 8.00AM with the option to take a refreshing dip in a nearby pool or simply enjoy a relaxed stroll around the accommodation. By 11.00AM, we set off on a scenic drive towards Jeli with the option for a lunch stop along the way.


On arrival, we’ll settle into our rooms before heading out for our 2nd Day of excursion to explore three charming waterfalls via short hikes — Lata Turbo, Lata Jerai, and Lata Janggut. We’ll spend a few unhurried hours soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the natural beauty, before returning to the accommodation. The evening is left free and easy, with dinner on your own and plenty of time to unwind at your own pace.

DAY 3
Our final day begins bright and early, with check-out at 6.30AM followed by a quick stop in town to pack breakfast for the road. From there, we’ll set off towards the trailhead and begin a steady hike through the forest, taking about 2-3 hours at an easy pace. The reward at the end is Lata Cuit — a magnificent, roaring waterfall where you can swim, explore, and soak in the power of nature.

The adventure doesn’t end there; we’ll continue to Lata Perah on the way down, offering yet another refreshing dip before we make our way back in the late afternoon. Our return to the trailhead marks the end of our waterfall expedition as everyone heads back to their respective destinations with memories of three unforgettable days in nature.

4 – Medium physical effort required. Uneven terrain requiring use of hands. Doable for beginners-moderate hikers with assistance but would be very tiring.

5 – High physical exertion. Very rugged terrain. Both legs and hands required for certain sections of the climb. You would need prior experience in hiking to be able to complete it comfortably or physically fit. Intense hike.

Leisure vs. Adventure

3 – This trip may raise your heart rate. Moderate physical activities are included and a good level of fitness is required.

4 – Be prepared for some serious physical activity. The fitter you are, the more you’ll enjoy it comfortably, as most activities will be challenging.

5 – Get ready for a heart-pumping adventure with plenty of challenges and some extreme conditions. You are required to be seriously fit for this trip as difficult activities and potentially less rest are included.
