Booking Terms:
- You are required to book your own AirBorneo flights into Long Akah Airport (LKH), situated in Long San village, Ulu Baram.
- The tour will be confirmed once we have groups of four, based on 4WD arrangements. If you sign up before a group is full, you’ll be placed on a waitlist until the next group of four is confirmed.
- Participants are advised to book their flights into Long Akah, only once the trip has been confirmed to meet the required number of pax.
- Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the tour date.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Travel like the locals via a Twin Otter plane (AirBorneo) and arrive at Long Akah Airport from Miri City (guests will arrange their own flight from Miri), where your hosts will meet and transfer you to Jevinda Village Stay for a quick check-in. After settling in, begin the adventure as we head off on a 2 hours 4WD ride to Data Bila village, where we will begin the hike to our first waterfall of the trip. The hike will take 1 to 1.5 hours where we will arrive at the massive, gushing Tekiwit Sela’an Waterfall. Enjoy a refreshing dip and grab your long-awaited adventure shots. We will also enjoy our packed meal by the waterfall – talk about lunch with a view!
After a good day of play and exploration, we will journey back to Data Bila village. Get yourself washed up and once we are on the ride back to Long San, there will be a pitstop at a viewpoint of the mystical Batu Siman. These 3 adjacent mountain peaks are the icon of the Baram Peace Park. The day then ends with a drive back to our homestay for dinner as the sun sets.
DAY 2
Day 2 begins early with breakfast in our homestay before we head off on a short 30 minute 4WD ride to the trailhead of U’ong Bilong, the first waterfall of this adventure. A 45-minute hike later we arrive at this magical fall. Enjoy a refreshing dip in its wide and clear pool with the tall vertical drop above!
From there, we will hike towards majestic The Three Sisters Keluan Waterfall. This hike will take almost 45 minutes, where we will arrive at the magnificent triple falls. Here, we will spend a good time to enjoy the falls, take a dip, and have our lunch with a view. The day ends with a drive back to our homestay for dinner as the sun sets.
DAY 3
The day starts slow with some breakfast. Travellers can take a stroll around the village to enjoy the local scene along the Baram River. We will spend the rest of the morning packing up before your flight back to Miri City to end the trip.
