- DAY 1 MEET-UP POINT: Kuching City – Exact Point will be shared closer to the trip date
- Flight into Kuching International Airport (KCH): Do arrive on Day 1 at any time.
- Flight out of Kuching International Airport (KCH): Any flights from Day 5, 3PM onwards. Drop offs will be arranged to the airport. There will be 1 scheduled drop off for all guests from our accommodation.

Booking Terms:
- A minimum of 6 pax is required for each tour date.
- Participants who sign up would automatically be placed on a wait list until the trip’s status is confirmed by Mowgli Venture.
- Participants are advised to book your flight tickets to Kuching, only once the trip has been confirmed to meet the minimum pax.
- Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to the tour date.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrive in Kuching City at any time. With most of the city’s main attractions within a short e-hailing ride away, you’re free to slip into explorer mode and wander at your own pace before meeting your fellow travellers later in the day. Your adventure officially begins tomorrow.
DAY 2
The day begins with a one-hour drive south, including a breakfast stop en route to Bengoh Dam. From here, we hop on a 30-minute boat ride to the trailhead of our first waterfall – and from this point on, phone signals fade away.
The hike takes us past a series of cascading waterfalls before revealing the highlight of the day: Susung Falls. Step back in time as you journey through dense rainforest that feels straight out of a Jurassic Park scene.
Enjoy a packed lunch with sweeping views of the waterfall before continuing on to a nearby village, where we’ll spend the night at a local homestay. As evening sets in, indulge in fresh, locally prepared dishes by our host. A short walk to a nearby viewpoint rewards you with a breathtaking landscape – perfect for sunset moments or a quiet night of stargazing.
DAY 3
We rise early to catch the sunrise, with tranquil views of the lake encircling the village. After breakfast, we board the boat back to our vehicle, setting off on the next leg of our journey.
An hour-long drive brings us to a traditional Bidayuh longhouse, where we take time to explore the village and learn about local life and culture. A quick lunch follows before we continue on to our next waterfall, tucked away in another Bidayuh village known for its direct walking route that leads all the way into Indonesia!
A short hike guides us to a series of crystal-clear pools, perfect for swimming and a few fun jumps. After enjoying nature’s playground, we return to Kuching City and check in at Permai Rainforest Resort.
Take time to freshen up and rest, or join our guide on a night walk to discover the rainforest as it comes alive, spotting nocturnal critters along the way.
DAY 4
After breakfast, we set off on a day trip to Bako National Park, one of Sarawak’s most iconic natural reserves. The day is spent hiking and exploring its diverse landscapes – from rainforest trails to rugged coastlines while keeping a lookout for the park’s notorious “Big Five”: the Proboscis Monkey, Bearded Pig, Silvered Leaf Monkey, Flying Lemur, and the elusive Bornean Keeled Pit Viper.
After a full day of exploration, we return to our accommodation to unwind. As night falls, you may choose to join an optional night walk, offering one last chance to experience the rainforest after dark.
DAY 5
Enjoy a free and easy morning immersed in the jungle. Optional add-on activities offered by the resort include kayaking, high rope adventures, or simply unwinding in a jungle pool surrounded by lush rainforest.
Airport drop-off will take place at 1:00 PM*, marking the end of your adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Guests will be sleeping on mattresses laid on in shared rooms and living spaces at the village homestay in Bengoh.
Rooms in Permai Rainforest Resort will be shared between 2-3 pax.
Halal meals are available within the city area. Muslim friendly meals are provided at the village stay. Vegetarian options are available throughout.
The hikes are suitable for beginner hikers, with the longest hike being at maximum 45 minutes long.
Children with previous exposure to hiking and accompanied by their parents/guardians are allowed to participate. Do brief us on their experiences for us to gauge their fitness accordingly.
